There is no trade-off between the positive environmental attributes of biodegradable foamcore and its physical performance. With the exception of its biodegradable properties, it performs in the same way as other non-biodegradable foamcore in the market. Biodegradable foamcore is SFI certified (Sustainable Forest Initiative, the largest forestry products certification program in North America).- Breaks down in landfills or composting environments in 1 to 5 years.

What is the difference between recyclable and biodegradable?
